2821 7th St. E. , Saskatoon, S7H 1Y9 Music lessons for beginning flute, clarinet and saxophone players as well as advanced saxophone lessons. Lessons can include theoretical and ear training instruction as well as improvisation (all at every level!) I have studied extensively at McGill University and am currently working on my BMUSEd at the University of Saskatchewan. I have performed in many different stylistic situations from contemporary classical saxophone ensembles and solos to German Oom-pah, Italian Wedding Bands, Hatian Pop groups, and of course many Big Bands including the University of Quebec in Montreal, the "Metro" Jazz Ensemble (here in Saskatoon), and others. As well, I have played in the Don Watson Octet, the David Morgan Quintet and formed my own group during my time in Moose Jaw, the "Jazz Ambassadors", which was made up of high school students from the Moose Jaw area and Outlook's own Chad Linsley. We were lucky enough to make a compact disk with this group and would be glad to lend a copy to anyone interested in my services. My widely varied playing experience in combination with my classical training at McGill University gives me a unique outlook on all of the elements of instrumental instruction and it would be my pleasure to pass on the knowledge and benefits of those experiences I have been so lucky to have been a part of. My rate for a 45 minute lesson is $22.50. Please email or phone and leave a message if you are interested in taking lessons! (FIRST LESSON FREE) Brevoort Park |
