Welcome to Music Education Online (MEO). Members of SMEA who have special projects on the go (such as camps, clinics, concerts or resource materials) will find MEO an excellent solution for the web side of things. We have kept the format very simple, so that we can achieve high useability across the world. Our advocacy presentation "Music in Motion" has been viewed thousands of times all around the world. What better indications of success can we have, but to serve over 400 pages per DAY to music educators both here and abroad. Saskatchewan has lead the way in the development of music education sites, and our principles of design and appropriate content make the entire site "student friendly" (all links are pre-viewed for content and appropriateness). Many teachers are using the site's link section as the starting point for very creative course work! Bravo! Please contact our office or our webmaster for any assistance we can give our members regarding the web and music education. We know that the WWWeb is a vast but unproductive resource unless we can help point to the REAL content and shared resources. We look forward to hearing from our members who may have discovered great new links, and may have improvements for our existing site. Until then we hope we've saved you time, improved the quality of your research and perhaps provided you with another tool to untilize in the busy and unique world of music education.
